Lighting Study in Eure (27)

The floor has yet to be laid, windows and doors are missing, some walls are still under construction—and we’re already conducting a lighting study. But why so early in the project?

The main reason lies in anticipating the routing of electrical cables: a well-planned study helps avoid unnecessary chases in the walls, unsightly extension cables, and allows this task to be coordinated with other site operations.

Planning the lighting in advance also ensures the proper sizing of the installation, contributing to long-term energy efficiency.

For this study, we provided LED strips and a selection of spotlights chosen beforehand through prior discussions. The lighting is powered via a temporary site distribution board.

Next step: Selecting fixtures from the catalog for cost estimation.

Comments

Carrying out a lighting study early in the process is a best practice, especially when renovating or completely transforming a space (barn, warehouse, workshop…) with a change of use.
